You are a True Son of God / Tu es un Vrai Fils de Dieu

 

2 Corinthians 5:16

"Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer."

A question that is often difficult for many people to answer is the question, "who are you?" When this question is asked, most people will rather tell what they are doing rather than who they truly are. Or better still, some people only identify  themselves from the earthly perspective. I am this, the one or daughter of this. Originating from so and so village. Yes, but you may have forgotten an important truth. Your new identity. Apostle Paul says, "Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer."

Friends regard not yourself according to the flesh. That is don't see yourself only from the natural and earthly point of view (tribe, gender, social status). If you are born again, you are a true child of God. You have the spirit of God in you. Through Jesus Christ, God has reconciled us to Himself not imputing our sins against us. Jesus always talk of Himself as coming from heaven. "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven" (John 3:13). 

Jesus saw himself is the man from heaven and He spoke as a man from heaven. We are true heirs of God and coheirs with Jesus Christ, seated with Him in Heavenly places. 

See, what Paul says here, "But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is does not belong to God. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ..." (Romans 8:9‭, ‬14‭-‬17).

See yourself as a true son of God, as a true heir of the glorious heavenly inheritance.

See yourself from the heavenly perspective. You are a partaker of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:2-4). You have the right and the advantage of a son of God. Just as Jesus Christ is in heaven, so are we now in this world. So, let go your past failures, mistakes and pains. Forgive whoever has hurt you and move on. Rise in the power and authority of a son. Hallelujah!

Une question à laquelle il est souvent difficile de répondre pour beaucoup de gens est la question "qui es-tu ?" Lorsque cette question est posée, la plupart des gens diront plutôt ce qu'ils font plutôt que qui ils sont vraiment. Ou mieux encore, certaines personnes ne s'identifient que d'un point de vue terrestre. Je suis telle ou la fille de telle, Originaire d'un tel village. Oui, mais vous avez peut-être oublié une vérité importante. Votre nouvelle identité. 

L'apôtre Paul dit : "C'est pourquoi, désormais, nous ne considérons personne selon la chair. Même si nous avons connu Christ selon la chair, nous ne le connaissons plus maintenant ainsi."

Les amis ne vous considérez pas seulement selon la chair. C'est-à-dire ne vous voyez pas uniquement du point de vue naturel et terrestre (tribu, genre, statut social). Si vous êtes né de nouveau, vous êtes un véritable enfant de Dieu. Vous avez l'Esprit de Dieu en vous. Par Jésus-Christ, Dieu nous a réconciliés avec Lui sans nous imputer nos péchés. 

Jésus parlait toujours de lui-même comme venant du ciel. "Nul n'est monté au ciel que celui qui est descendu du ciel, c'est-à-dire le Fils de l'homme qui est dans les cieux" (Jean 3:13). Jésus se voyait comme l'homme du ciel et Il parlait comme un homme du ciel. Nous sommes de vrais héritiers de Dieu et cohéritiers de Jésus-Christ, assis avec Lui dans les lieux célestes. 

Voyez, ce que Paul dit ici : "Mais ne vivez pas selon la chair, mais selon l'Esprit, si du moins l'Esprit de Dieu habite en vous. Or, si quelqu'un n'a pas l'Esprit de Christ, il n'appartient pas à Dieu. Car tous ceux qui sont conduits par l'Esprit de Dieu sont fils de Dieu, car vous n'avez pas reçu l'esprit de servitude pour être encore dans la crainte, mais vous avez reçu l'Esprit d'adoption par lequel nous crions : Abba, Père. L'Esprit Lui-même rend témoignage à notre esprit que nous sommes enfants de Dieu, et si enfants, alors héritiers - héritiers de Dieu et cohéritiers avec Christ..." (Romains 8:9, 14-17). Considérez-vous comme un vrai fils de Dieu, comme un véritable héritier du glorieux héritage céleste. Voyez-vous du point de vue céleste. Vous êtes un participant de la nature divine (2 Pierre 1:2-4). Vous avez le droit et l'avantage d'un fils de Dieu. Tout comme Jésus-Christ est au ciel actuellement, tel nous le sommes maintenant dans ce monde. 

Alors, laissez aller vos échecs, erreurs et douleurs passés. Pardonnez à celui qui vous a fait du mal et passez à autre chose. Lèves toi dans le pouvoir et l'autorité d'un fils. Alléluia!
