Genesis 3:21

“ Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. ”

Yesterday, we study the word new beginnings. There are not only new beginnings in the Bible, there are also, Improvement, Correction and Adaptation. 

Adaptation comes from the verse to adapt and it means, to make fit (as of a new use) often by modification. Some synonyms are: adjust, accommodate, acclimate, edit and fashion. 

As humans, we must also learn to adapt, to adjust, and to ameliorate. 

After man sinned in the Garden of Eden, God did not just give up on man. Yes, the judgment was passed, but the Bible says, “Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.” (Genesis 3:21). Before they sinned, Adam and his wife were naked and were not ashamed. After the fall, their eyes got opened and God had to now clothe them. That is adaptation. 

Secondly, God had desired to reign over His people Israel from heaven. But there came a time when the people asked for a king. Though God punished them for that, yet God adapted to the new system and gave them kings. That is adaptation.

David got someone's wife, Bathsheba pregnant in adultery. God punished the act. David repented and finally God gave him a son from that relationship, Solomon who became the next king after David. That is adaptation.

God created humans and until the experience at the Tower of Babel, the whole world was speaking one language. Given their selfish project to make a name for themselves and to stay on one place, from one language, God divided them into many languages. That is amelioration. One language became a threat to God's commandment to fill the earth. He distributed many languages to men to stop their project. 

All through, we see God improving, adapting and correcting. From Tabernacle to physical temple and now human temple. That is amelioration, adaptation and improvement. 

That is to teach us that in life, there are times;

You can adapt.

You and your husband wanted one baby and you got pregnant; but now like the woman who gave birth to nine children in Douala, you must adapt to the twins or tripled God has given you.

You can correct yourself or your dreams.

You discovered that the live you are living is not right, you can correct yourself, that is called repentance. Coming back to God's will. You can adjust your life and actions. 

You can also ameliorate your singing, preaching, dressing.

You can begin again.

If you have written an exam and did not make it the first time, you don't just give up saying this is not my thing. No! There are some people that it is after five times of writing the same exam that they finally got it and they also had a major breakthrough. 

Don't be afraid of ashamed to adapt, improve, correct or beging again. You can dream a new dream. Start a new project. Improve on the former. It is a divine principle. You can employ it in your life also. It works.

Genèse 3 :21

« Pour Adam et sa femme, le Seigneur Dieu fit des tuniques de peau et les vêtit. »

Hier, nous étudions le concept de nouveau départ. Il n'y a pas seulement de nouveaux départs dans la Bible, il y a aussi des améliorations, des corrections et des adaptations. 

L'adaptation vient du verset s'adapter et cela signifie rendre apte (à partir d'un nouvel usage) souvent par modification. Certains synonymes sont : ajuster, s'accomoder, acclimater, modifier et modeler. 

En tant qu’êtres humains, nous devons également apprendre à nous adapter, à nous ajuster et à nous améliorer. 

Après que l’homme ait péché dans le jardin d’Éden, Dieu n’a pas simplement abandonné l’homme. Oui, le jugement a été rendu, mais la Bible dit : « Et pour Adam et sa femme, le Seigneur Dieu fit des tuniques de peau et les vêtit. » (Genèse 3 : 21). 

Avant de pécher, Adam et sa femme étaient nus et n’avaient pas honte. Après la chute, leurs yeux se sont ouverts et Dieu devait maintenant les vêtir. C'est ça l'adaptation. 

Deuxièmement, Dieu avait désiré régner du ciel sur son peuple Israël. Mais il arriva un moment où le peuple demanda un roi. Bien que Dieu les ait punis pour cela, Dieu s’est néanmoins adapté au nouveau système et leur a donné des rois. C'est ça l'adaptation. 

David a mis la femme de quelqu'un, Bethsabée, enceinte par un acte d'adultère. Dieu a puni cet acte. David s'est repenti et finalement Dieu lui a donné un fils issu de cette relation, Salomon qui est devenu le prochain roi après David. C'est ça l'adaptation. 

Dieu a créé les humains et jusqu'à l'expérience de la Tour de Babel, le monde entier parlait une seule langue. Compte tenu de leur projet égoïste de se faire un nom et de rester au même endroit, à partir d’une seule langue, Dieu les a divisés en plusieurs langues. C'est une amélioration. Une langue était devenue une menace pour le commandement de Dieu de remplir la terre. Il distribua de nombreuses langues aux hommes pour stopper leur projet. 

Tout au long, nous voyons Dieu améliorer, s’adapter et corriger. Du Tabernacle au temple physique et maintenant au temple humain. C’est l’amélioration, l’adaptation et l’amélioration. Cela pour nous apprendre que dans la vie, il y a des moments, 

Vous pouvez vous adapter.

Toi et ton mari vouliez un bébé et tu es tombée enceinte ; mais maintenant, comme la femme qui a donné naissance à neuf enfants à Douala, vous devez vous adapter aux jumeaux ou triplés que Dieu vous a donnés. 

Vous pouvez vous corriger ou corriger vos rêves.

Vous avez découvert que la vie que vous vivez n'est pas bonne, vous pouvez vous corriger, c'est ce qu'on appelle se repentir. Revenons à la volonté de Dieu. Vous pouvez ajuster votre vie et vos actions. 

Vous pouvez également améliorer votre facon de chanter, votre prédication, votre habillement. 

Vous pouvez recommencer. Si vous avez ecrit un examen et que vous ne l'avez pas réussi au premier coup, n'abandonnez pas en disant que ce n'est pas mon truc. Non! Il y a des gens que c'est après avoir fait cinq fois le même examen qu'ils l'ont finalement obtenu et qu'ils ont également eu une percée majeure. N'ayez pas peur et honte de vous adapter, de vous améliorer, de corriger ou de recommencer. 

Vous pouvez rêver d'un nouveau rêve. Démarrez un nouveau projet. Améliorer le premier. C'est un principe divin. Vous pouvez également l'utiliser dans votre vie. Ça marche.
