Be Proud of Whom God Has Made You To Be / Soyez fier de qui Dieu vous a fait être

Psalms 139:14

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.”

When it comes to God, there is one thing we should all be certain of, God makes no mistakes. Everything God does is on purpose and for a reason. 

God created a perfect world and everything was good. But with the fall of man, many things went wrong and the world became imperfect. If you see any imperfection, injustice and corruption in the world, just know that it can only be attributed to man, to the devil and to the imperfect world we live in.

Sometimes we have the impression that God made a mistake while creating us or that God is unjust when dealing with us: we see mistake about our parents, our gender, our country, our complexion and the list can continue. 

Friends, the differences and variations in the world are also all part of God's beauty in creation. Imagine a world where all humans look the same, having the same hight, the same weight, the same colour of eyes. How on earth will you recognize your children or husband or wife? 

Our problem most of the time has been that, instead of celebrating our differences, we blame God, we blame others and we blame ourselves. And with such a mindset, we can never live a happy life. 

Let us listen to a man who was born different from his brothers; a man who saw himself as was conceived in sin; a man who was made to take care of sheep in the forest while his brothers were enjoying in town; I am talking about David, the man after God's heart. Listen to what he says to God and what he thinks about himself. 

1. David said, “I will praise You.” That is praising God. David did not sit to cry because of his difference and the poor treatment of his parents or brothers. No! He celebrated God for creating his life. You know that David was a singer with many songs that glorified God who created him. It is said, he may have been born out of wedlock. But David kept celebrating God. Are you celebrating God for making you who you are? 

2. David said, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Know it my friend, you are wonderfully and fearfully made. No matter you state, condition and position. You are not a mistake. You may have commited some mistakes, but that doesn't make you a mistake. Celebrate God.

3. David said, “Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” Is your soul aware that God's works are marvelous? 

No matter where you have been, where you are and what has happened, look at the positive side. You are still breathing, there is hope for a living dog than a dead lion. Celebrate God for your life and see how He works out everything for your good (Romans 8:28). His works indeed are marvelous. You are marvelous.

Psaumes 139 :14

« Je te loue de ce que je suis une créature si merveilleuse. Tes œuvres sont admirables, Et mon âme le reconnaît bien. »

Quand il s’agit de Dieu, il y a une chose dont nous devrions tous être certains : Dieu ne fait aucune erreur. Tout ce que Dieu fait est intentionnel et pour une raison. 

Dieu a créé un monde parfait et tout était bon. Mais avec la chute de l’homme, beaucoup de choses ont mal tourné et le monde est devenu imparfait. Si vous voyez une imperfection, une injustice et une corruption dans le monde, sachez simplement que cela ne peut être attribué qu’à l’homme, au diable et au monde imparfait dans lequel nous vivons. Parfois nous avons l'impression que Dieu s'est trompé en nous créant ou que Dieu est injuste envers nous : nous voyons des erreurs avec nos parents, notre genre, notre pays, notre teint et la liste peut continuer. 

Mes amis, les différences et les variations du monde font également partie de la beauté de Dieu dans la création. Imaginez un monde où tous les humains se ressemblent, ont la même taille, le même poids, la même couleur d’yeux. Comment diable allez-vous reconnaître vos enfants, votre mari ou votre femme ? 

La plupart du temps, notre problème est qu’au lieu de célébrer nos différences, nous blâmons Dieu, nous blâmons les autres et nous nous blâmons nous-mêmes. Et avec un tel état d’esprit, nous ne pourrons jamais vivre une vie heureuse. 

Écoutons un homme né différent de ses frères ; un homme qui se voyait tel qu'il avait été conçu dans le péché ; un homme qui était fait pour s'occuper des brebis dans la forêt pendant que ses frères s'amusaient en ville ; Je parle de David, l'homme selon le cœur de Dieu. Écoutez ce qu'il dit à Dieu et ce qu'il pense de lui-même. 

1. David a dit : « Je te loue. » C'est celebrer Dieu. David ne s'est pas assis pour pleurer à cause de sa différence et du mauvais traitement infligé par ses parents ou à ses frères. Non! Il a célébré Dieu pour sa vie. Vous savez que David était un chantre avec de nombreux chants qui glorifient Dieu qui l'a créé. On dit qu'il est peut-être né hors mariage. Mais David a continué à célébrer Dieu. Célébrez-vous Dieu pour avoir fait de vous ce que vous êtes ? 

2. David a dit : « Je suis fait d'une manière merveilleuse. » Sache-le mon ami, Tu es créé d'une manière merveilleuse et ettonante. Peu importe ton état, ta condition et ta position. Tu n'es pas une erreur. Tu as peut-être commis des erreurs, mais cela ne fait pas de toi une erreur. Célébres Dieu. 

3. David dit : « Merveilleuses sont tes œuvres, et cela mon âme le sait très bien. » Votre âme est-elle consciente que les œuvres de Dieu sont merveilleuses ?

Peu importe où tu as été, où tu es et ce qui s’est passé, regarde le côté positif. Tu respires encore; il y a de l'espoir pour un chien vivant plutôt que pour un lion mort. Célébres Dieu pour ta vie et observe comment Il fait tout pour ton bien (Romains 8 :28). Ses œuvres sont en effet merveilleuses. Tu es merveilleus.
