Never Be Afraid to Start Again / N'ayez jamais peur de recommencer

Isaiah 43:19

“Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”

God has designed the world in such a way that there are always opportunities for new beginnings. There are new beginnings everywhere in the world: 

The earth does a rotation of 24 hours on itself, then there is a new beginning, a new day. We observe it as the sun rising from the East and setting in the he West.

The earth also rotates around the sun for 365 days. Then there is a new beginning, a year ends and a new year begins. This is called revolution. 

A woman has a menstrual cycle that varies from 21 to 32 days. After each cycle, there is a new begining in her ovulation system. 

The Bible is full of new beginnings. When man sinned against God, God did not give up on man. He started a new creation plan and finally executed it through Jesus Christ. The Bible says, if a man is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have past away, behold all things have become new. God gives us a new beginning in Christ. 

When the world became corrupt and men became so immoral and sinful, God wiped away that generation and started all over again with Noah and His family. There was a new beginning.

When Moses got angry and God disqualified him from entering the Promised Land, God called Joshua to take over, there was a new beginning. 

We can go on and on, you will see that even God is not ashamed nor afraid to start all over again. In ow passage God says, “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”

God can and wants to do a new thing in your life. Don't remain in the past. 

Why are people afraid of new beginnings? 

1. They look at the time wasted and say to themselves, How do I catch up?

2. They look at the investment made and say, how do I regain back what I lost. 

3. They think of what people will say. 

4. They are afraid of being abused once again. 

5. They stay in regrets and think only of the past things. The past is passed and can never comes back. You can only change the present and improve the future. The only way to have a new beginning is to forget the former things.

Look at the his verse, “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (Isaiah 43:18). 

Don't be afraid of new beginnings, it is God's design for life on earth.

« Voici, je vais faire une chose nouvelle, maintenant elle va germer ; ne le saurez-vous pas ? Je ferai même un chemin dans le désert et des rivières dans le désert. »

Dieu a conçu le monde de telle manière qu’il existe toujours des opportunités pour un nouveau départ. Il y a de nouveaux commencements partout dans le monde : 

La terre fait une rotation de 24 heures sur elle-même, puis il y a un nouveau départ, un nouveau jour. Nous observons cela comme le soleil se levant à l'est et se couchant à l'ouest. 

La Terre tourne également autour du soleil pendant 365 jours. Puis il y a un nouveau départ, une année se termine et une nouvelle année commence. C’est ce qu’on appelle la révolution. 

Une femme a un cycle menstruel qui varie de 21 à 32 jours. Après chaque cycle, il y a un nouveau départ dans son système d'ovulation. 

La Bible est pleine de nouveaux départs. Quand l’homme a péché contre Dieu, Dieu n’a pas abandonné l’homme. Il a commencé un nouveau plan de recréation et l'a finalement exécuté en Jésus-Christ. La Bible dit que si un homme est en Christ, il est une nouvelle création. Les choses anciennes sont passées, voici, toutes choses sont devenues nouvelles. Dieu nous donne un nouveau départ en Christ. 

Lorsque le monde est devenu corrompu et que les hommes sont devenus si immoraux et pécheurs, Dieu a effacé cette génération et tout a recommencé avec Noé et sa famille. Il y a eu un nouveau départ. 

Lorsque Moïse s'est mis en colère et que Dieu l'a disqualifié d'entrer dans la Terre Promise, Dieu a appelé Josué pour prendre la relève, il y a eu un nouveau départ. 

Nous pouvons continuer encore et encore, vous verrez que même Dieu n'a pas honte ni peur de tout recommencer. 

Dans notre passage, Dieu dit : « Voici, je vais faire une chose nouvelle, maintenant elle va germer ; ne le saurez-vous pas ? Je ferai même un chemin dans le désert et des rivières dans le désert. »

Dieu peut et veut faire quelque chose de nouveau dans votre vie. Ne restez pas dans le passé. Pourquoi les gens ont-ils peur d’un nouveau départ ? 

1. Ils regardent le temps perdu et se demandent : Comment rattraper leur retard ? 

2. Ils examinent l’investissement réalisé et demandent comment récupérer ce que j’ai perdu. 

3. Ils pensent à ce que les gens diront. 

4. Ils ont peur d’être à nouveau maltraités. 

5. Ils restent dans les regrets et ne pensent qu’aux choses passées. 

Le passé est passé et ne pourra jamais revenir. Vous ne pouvez que changer le présent et améliorer le futur. La seule façon de prendre un nouveau départ est d’oublier les choses anciennes. Regardez se verset, « Ne vous souvenez pas des choses anciennes, et ne considérez pas les choses anciennes. » (Ésaïe 43 :18). N'ayez pas peur des nouveaux départs, c'est le dessein de Dieu pour la vie sur terre.
