Is there not a cause? / N'y a-t-il pas une cause?

2 Chronicles 7:14:

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Someone said, “darkness is the absence of light”. Another person said, “Instead of cursing the darkness, light the candle”. Friends, the heart of man is mostly tilted towards cursing darkness around us; Commenting on what is wrong; Placing blame here and there; and looking for who is not doing this or that. Such an attitude will never bring change in any society or nation, but only add to the already existing problems. It is very easy to shift responsibility and to place blame on others. This is also part of the fallen and sinful nature we inherited from Adam. Look at these verses,

 “Then the man said, 'The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.' And the Lord God said to the woman, 'What is this you have done?' The woman said, 'The serpent deceived me, and I ate.'” (Genesis 3:12‭-‬13 NKJV). 

Have you seen that game of shifting responsibilities and blaming others? We must desist from it and rise up to take up our responsibility.

In every generation, from the time of Abraham to Israel and to the establishment of the Church, God has placed a great responsibility on His people. His people are called to be the light bearers and the agents of change wherever they are found. Jesus revealed in the Gospel of Matthew that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. So, if people around us are to be preserved, are to see good, are to know what to do, or are to live rightly around us, we bear a great part of the responsibility. And one of the ways to bring healing and transformation to the nations is through prayers. I don't mean the noise we hear and drama we see in many places today, but real fellowship and encounters with God. Real intercession for the lost and the leaders of our land. Many of them are under the devil's influence and manipulations and they can't do what is right. So, don't expect much from them. 

God says, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Two things will happen when true children of God pray rightly: 

1. God will hear and forgive the sins of the people of the land.

2. God will hear and heal the people of the land. 

Let us stop blaming those who failing in their responsibilities. Let us stop cursing the darkness. Rather, let us light the candle. Let us intentionally pray for the healing of the land. For this cause we have been saved.

 2 Chroniques 7 : 14 :

« Si mon peuple, qui est appelé par mon nom, s'humilie, prie et cherche ma face, et se détourne de ses mauvaises voies, alors j'écouterai du ciel, et je lui pardonnerai son péché et guérissez leur pays. »

Quelqu’un a dit : « L’obscurité c'est l’absence de lumière ». Une autre personne a dit : « Au lieu de maudire les ténèbres, allumez la bougie». Mes amis, le cœur de l’homme est principalement enclin à maudire les ténèbres qui nous entourent ; Commenter ce qui ne va pas ; placer les blâmes ici et là ; et chercher qui ne fait pas ceci ou cela. Une telle attitude n’apportera jamais de changement dans aucune société ou nation, mais ne fera qu’aggraver les problèmes déjà existants. Il est très facile de rejeter la responsabilité et de rejeter la faute sur les autres. Cela fait également partie de la nature déchue et pécheresse que nous avons héritée d’Adam. Regardez ces versets,

 « Alors l'homme dit : 'La femme que tu as donnée pour être avec moi, elle m'a donné le fruit de l'arbre, et j'en ai mangé.' Et le Seigneur Dieu dit à la femme : 'Qu'as-tu fait ?' La femme dit : 'Le serpent m’a trompée et j’ai mangé.' » (Genèse 3 : 12-13 LSG). 

Avez-vous vu ce jeu consistant à déplacer les responsabilités et à rejeter la faute sur les autres ? Nous devons y renoncer et se lever pour assumer nos responsabilités. 

Dans chaque génération, depuis l’époque d’Abraham jusqu’à Israël et jusqu’à l’établissement de l’Église, Dieu a confié une grande responsabilité à son peuple. Son peuple est appelé à être porteur de lumière et agent de changement partout où il se trouve. Jésus a révélé dans l'Évangile de Matthieu que nous sommes le sel de la terre et la lumière du monde. Ainsi, si les gens qui nous entourent doivent être préservés, voir le bien, savoir quoi faire ou comment vivre correctement autour de nous, nous portons une grande part de responsabilité. Et l’un des moyens d’apporter la guérison et la transformation aux nations passe par les prières. Je ne parle pas du bruit que nous entendons et Les théatre que nous voyons dans de nombreux endroits aujourd'hui, mais d'une véritable communion et de rencontres avec Dieu. Véritable intercession pour les perdus et les dirigeants de notre terre. 

Beaucoup d’entre ces personnes sont sous l’influence et les manipulations du diable et ne peuvent pas faire ce qui est juste. Alors n’attendez pas grand-chose d’eux. Dieu dit : « Si mon peuple, qui est appelé par mon nom, s'humilie, prie et cherche ma face, et se détourne de ses mauvaises voies, alors j'écouterai du ciel, je lui pardonnerai ses péchés et je guérirai son pays. »

Deux choses se produiront lorsque les vrais enfants de Dieu prieront correctement : 

1. Dieu entendra et pardonnera les péchés du peuple du pays. 

2. Dieu entendra et guérira les habitants du pays. Donc, arrêtons de blâmer ceux qui manquent à leurs responsabilités. Arrêtons de maudire les ténèbres. Allumons plutôt la bougie. Prions intentionnellement pour la guérison du pays. C'est pour cette cause que nous avons été sauvés.
