Prophetic Stars of the Messiah (Part Three) / Etoiles Prophétiques du Messie (Partie Trois)

Exodus 12:3, 7 

"Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household... And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it."

There are many stories, events and people of the Old Testament that are a pointer or a type of Jesus Christ. The Passover Lamb or the ram that Abraham sacrificed are all a type of Jesus Christ.  

We all know the story of the deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt. The last plague that God inflicted upon the Egyptians was the killing of all the first born of their land. But the sign that exempted the Israelites was the blood of the lamb on their doorposts. 

"‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord... For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you." (Exodus 12:12‭, ‬23). The blood was was the sign. It also established a Covenant of God exemption and protection. 

Centuries later, John is baptizing people in the Jordan and when he sees Jesus coming towards him on one of  the faithful days and he says, 

“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples. And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God!” (John 1:29‭, ‬35‭-‬36). 

Jesus Christ is the true Lamb of God that takes away our sins. We do not need the blood of animals for the forgiveness of our sins and the breaking of curses in our lives. Jesus' blood is enough. 

His blood does not only atone for our sins, by his blood, we are also exempted from the enemies plagues. Look at this, 

"Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us." (1 Corinthians 5:7 ).

Friend, take coverage in the blood of Jesus Christ. Confess your sins to God and let the blood of Jesus Christ cleanse you. When redeemed by His blood, we are also exempted from the plagues of the enemy in this world. Let that eternal blood of the new covenant speak better things in you life at this end of the year.

« Parles à toute l'assemblée d'Israël, en disant : 'Le dixième de ce mois, chacun prendra pour lui un agneau, selon la maison de son père, un agneau pour sa maison. .. Et ils prendront du sang et le mettront sur les deux montants des portes et sur le linteau des maisons où ils le mangeront. »

Il existe de nombreuses histoires, événements et personnages de l’Ancien Testament qui sont un indicateur ou un type de Jésus-Christ. L’agneau pascal ou le bélier qu’Abraham a sacrifié sont tous des types où image de Jésus-Christ. 

Nous connaissons tous l’histoire de la délivrance des Israélites d’Égypte. Le dernier fléau que Dieu a infligé aux Égyptiens fut le meurtre de tous les premiers-nés de leur pays. Mais le signe qui exemptait les Israélites était le sang de l’agneau sur les montants de leurs portes. 

« 'Car je traverserai le pays d'Egypte cette nuit-là, et je frapperai tous les premiers-nés du pays d'Egypte, depuis les hommes jusqu'aux bêtes; et contre tous les dieux d'Egypte j'exécuterai le jugement: Je suis « 'Éternel. .. Car l'Éternel passera pour frapper les Égyptiens ; et quand il verra le sang sur le linteau et sur les deux montants de la porte, l'Éternel passera par la porte et ne permettra pas au destructeur d'entrer dans vos maisons pour vous frapper. » (Exode 12 :12, 23). 

Le sang était le signe. Il a également établi une exemption et une protection de l’Alliance de Dieu. Des siècles plus tard, Jean p

baptise des gens dans le Jourdain et quand il voit Jésus venir vers lui un de ces jours et il dit : 

« Voici! L'Agneau de Dieu qui enlève le péché du monde ! Le lendemain encore, Jean se tenait avec deux de ses disciples. Et regardant Jésus pendant qu'il marchait, il dit : « Voici l'Agneau de Dieu ! » (Jean 1 :29, 35-36). 

Jésus-Christ est le véritable Agneau de Dieu qui enlève nos péchés. Nous n’avons pas besoin du sang des animaux pour le pardon de nos péchés et pour briser les malédictions dans nos vies. Le sang de Jésus suffit. Son sang n'expiere pas seulement nos péchés, par son sang, nous sommes également exemptés des fléaux ennemis. Regarde ça,

« C'est pourquoi, purifiez-vous du vieux levain, afin que vous soyez une nouvelle pâte, puisque vous êtes vraiment sans levain. Car en effet Christ, notre Pâque, a été sacrifié pour nous. » (1 Corinthiens 5:7). 

Ami, Prenez refuge dans le Sang de Jésus-Christ. Confessez vos péchés à Dieu et laissez le sang de Jésus-Christ vous purifier. Lorsque nous sommes rachetés par Son sang, nous sommes également exemptés des plaies de l’ennemi dans ce monde. Laissez ce sang éternel de la nouvelle alliance parler de meilleures choses dans votre vie en cette fin d’année.
