Genesis 12:2&3
"I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3... And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
Can you really take time to reflect over the meaning of this verse? Especially the last part of it.
"And you shall be a blessing...And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
God was looking forward to manifest or to fulfill a global order of blessing through Abraham and his descendants.
The average Christian today is looking for one thing, blessings. Many people who go to church services and Christian programs are seeking for blessings. The expectations ranges from one issues to the other and differ from persons to persons. Let me ask you, what are you looking for in Christianity? Yes, in your worship time, prayer time, and participations in program, what are you really looking for? God or the blessings? When you follow and obey God, you cannot miss the blessings.
This passage was God's direct address to Abram (whose name was changed to Abraham). At this point, Abram was 75 years old and childless. And more to that, he was in his father's house. You can imagine how he felt when hearing these words: excited, wonderful, joyful.
Friends, when God promises something, he does not count on your condition or your resources, He counts on Himself. If only we can follow Him, we will see what He has promised.
So, Abraham exercised faith in God and obey God. God indeed gave him a son, Isaac, after Twenty-Five years. Then Isaac had Essau and Jacob after Twenty. Finally Jacob had the patriarchs who became the Twelves tribes of Israel. God indeed made one man, Abraham into a nation. From being slaves in Egypt, they became the greatest nation in the world during the reign of David and Solomon, by the hand of God.
Friends, God can turn one man into a nation (Isaiah 60:22); He can turn a slave today into a governor tomorrow; A prostitute into a mother of nations.
Why was God doing this with Abraham? "And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
God fulfilled this prophecy through Jesus Christ, who came from the lineage of father Abraham. Galatians 3:13-14 says:
"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us...,[14] that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."
We are partakers of the Abrahamic order of blessings: Blessed to become a blessing. Hallelujah!
Beloved, you are already blessed with all kinds of spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Oh, some shout, I am blessed.
So, rather seek to become a blessing and not seek the blessings; And you will see how wonderful life will become. Praise the Lord. More on this shall be said tomorrow by God's grace.

Pouvez-vous vraiment prendre le temps de réfléchir à la signification de ces versets? Surtout la dernière partie. "Et tu seras une bénédiction... Et en toi toutes les familles de la terre seront bénies."
Dieu attendait avec impatience de manifester ou d'accomplir un ordre mondial de bénédiction à travers Abraham et ses descendants. Le chrétien moyen d’aujourd’hui recherche une chose : les bénédictions. De nombreuses personnes qui assistent aux services religieux et aux programmes chrétiens recherchent des bénédictions. Les attentes varient d’une problématique à l’autre et diffèrent d’une personne à l’autre. Laissez-moi vous demander, que recherchez-vous dans le christianisme ? Oui, dans votre temps d’adoration, votre temps de prière et votre participation au programme, que recherchez-vous vraiment ? Dieu ou les bénédictions ? Lorsque vous suivez et obéissez à Dieu, vous ne pouvez manquer les bénédictions.
Ce passage était le discours direct de Dieu à Abram (dont le nom a été changé en Abraham). À cette époque, Abram avait 75 ans et n’avait pas d’enfant. Et plus encore, il était dans la maison de son père. Vous pouvez imaginer ce qu’il a ressenti en entendant ces mots : excité, merveilleux, joyeux.
Mes amis, quand Dieu promet quelque chose, il ne compte pas sur votre condition ni sur vos ressources, il compte sur lui-même. Si seulement nous pouvons le suivre, nous verrons ce qu’il a promis.
Ainsi, Abraham a exercé sa foi en Dieu et lui a obéi. Dieu lui a en effet donné un fils, Isaac, après vingt-cinq ans. Puis Isaac eut Essaü et Jacob après vingt ans. Finalement Jacob eut les patriarches qui devinrent les Douze tributs d'Israël. Dieu a en effet fait d’un seul homme, Abraham, une nation. D’esclaves en Égypte, ils sont devenus la plus grande nation du monde sous le règne de David et Salomon, par la main de Dieu.
Mes amis, Dieu peut transformer un homme en une nation (Ésaïe 60 : 22) ; Il peut transformer un esclave d’aujourd’hui en gouverneur demain ; Une prostituée devenue mère des nations. Pourquoi Dieu faisait-il cela avec Abraham ?
"Et en toi toutes les familles de la terre seront bénies."
Dieu a accompli cette prophétie par Jésus-Christ, issu de la lignée du père Abraham. Galates 3 :13-14 dit : "Christ nous a rachetés de la malédiction de la loi, étant devenu malédiction pour nous...,[14] afin que la bénédiction d'Abraham vienne sur les païens en Jésus-Christ, afin que nous recevions la promesse de l'Esprit par foi."
Nous participons à l’ordre abrahamique des bénédictions : Béni pour devenir une bénédiction. Alléluia ! Bien-aimé, vous êtes déjà béni par toutes sortes de bénédictions spirituelles dans les lieux célestes en Christ. Oh, certains crient, je suis béni. Alors cherchez plutôt à devenir une bénédiction et ne recherchez pas les bénédictions ; Et vous verrez à quel point la vie deviendra merveilleuse. Louez le Seigneur. Nous en dirons davantage demain, par la grâce de Dieu.
