How to Overcome Lack of Determination and Inconsistency / Comment Surmonter le Manque de Détermination et l'Inconsistence

 

‭Hebrews 6:12

"that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises."

This verse is telling us that we need a those of faith and patience in life in order to inherit the promise. When we talk of patience, we also see determination. We can draw that lesson from the life of people like Abraham, Moses, Hannah and others in the Bible. Friends,,  let's not be sluggish, and we easily get discouraged. 

There are people who never finish what they start because they lack patience and determination. 

They never finish the reading of a book. They never finish a program. They are never consistent in a job. They move from one job to another. I know of a colleague pastor that before I ended ten years service in one church, he had already moved to about four different locations. What legacy and achievements can you count with such inconsistency? 

These are those who always look for greener pastures in other fields instead of growing their own greener pasture in their fields. They have a nomadic mentality They do not want to endure hardship. You must learn to endure hardship. If this company is not paying well, you just move out. If there is a problem there, you leave. How did you know you are not the solution to the crisis? Do not be self centered. Learn to endure and to be patient. Endure with hope and optimism, there are brighter days ahead. Only move when God tells you to move. 

Determination is the product of commitment. When you fail to keep your commitment, you lose your self-esteem. You lose your faith. You lose people’s trust. 

The Bible says, if you give up in the day of adversity, then your strength is weak (Proverbs 24:10).

You must be patient over your investment for them to yield to yield in the future. There is nothing of great value you will achieve in this life without determination and patience. Every of God’s promises delivers on the ground of determination and patience. 

You must add patience to your faith to expect to yield the fruits (2 Peter 1:5-10). Hardships are tests to your faith (James 1:2-4). Patience is part of the fruit of the spirit. Only those who endure suffering with Christ will be glorified with him. 

Consider Abraham the father of faith. How did he receive Isaac? By Faith and patience 

We need determination and patience. Hallelujah!!!

"afin que vous ne deveniez pas paresseux, mais imitez ceux qui, par la foi et la patience, héritent des promesses." 

Ce verset nous dit que nous avons besoin de foi et de patience dans la vie afin d'hériter la promesse. Quand on parle de patience, on voit aussi de détermination. Nous pouvons tirer cette leçon de la vie de personnes comme Abraham, Moïse, Hannah et d’autres dans la Bible. Mes amis, ne soyons pas paresseux, et nous nous décourageons facilement. Il y a des gens qui ne finissent jamais ce qu’ils ont commencé parce qu’ils manquent de patience et de détermination. Ils ne finissent jamais la lecture d'un livre. Ils ne terminent jamais un programme. Ils ne sont jamais consistant dans un travail. Ils passent d'un emploi à un autre. Je connais un collègue pasteur qui, avant de terminer mes dix ans de service dans une église, il avait déjà déménagé dans quatre endroits différents. Sur quel héritage et quelles réalisations pouvez-vous compter avec une telle incohérence ? Ce sont ceux qui recherchent toujours des pâturages plus verts dans d’autres champs au lieu de cultiver leurs propres pâturages plus verts dans leurs champs. Ils ont une mentalité nomade. Ils ne veulent pas endurer les difficultés. 

Vous devez apprendre à supporter les difficultés. Si cette entreprise ne paie pas bien, vous déménagez. S'il y a un problème, vous partez. Comment saviez-vous que vous n’étiez pas la solution à la crise ? Ne soyez pas égocentrique. Apprenez à endurer et à être patient. Endurez avec espoir et optimisme, il y a des jours meilleurs à venir. Ne bougez que lorsque Dieu vous le demande. 

La détermination est le produit de l’engagement. Lorsque vous ne respectez pas votre engagement, vous perdez votre estime de soi. Vous perdez votre foi. Vous perdez la confiance des gens. La Bible dit que si vous abandonnez au jour de l’adversité, alors votre force est faible (Proverbes 24 : 10). Vous devez être patient sur votre investissement pour qu’il rapporte à l’avenir. Il n’y a rien de grande valeur que vous réaliserez dans cette vie sans détermination et sans patience. Chacune des promesses de Dieu se réalise grâce à la détermination et à la patience. Vous devez ajouter de la patience à votre foi pour espérer porter les fruits (2 Pierre 1 : 5-10). 

Les difficultés sont des épreuves pour votre foi (Jacques 1 : 2-4). La patience fait partie du fruit de l'esprit. Seuls ceux qui endurent la souffrance avec Christ seront glorifiés avec lui. Considérez Abraham comme le père de la foi. Comment a-t-il reçu Isaac ? Par la foi et la patience. Nous avons besoin de détermination et de patience. Alléluia!!!
