THOUGH THE VISION MAY TARRY, WAIT FOR IT / BIEN QUE LA VISION PUISSE TARDER, ATTENDEZ-LA.

 

Habakkuk 2:3

"For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry."

Every assignment produces a vision in its carrier. The vision is always a picture of a desired or preferred future. It is an ideal condition we wish to see happen. And so, we work hard towards bringing it to pass. But sometimes, it doesn't come easily and so fast as we think. 

Know this, harvest takes time. And depending on the kind of tree, some harvests take longer time. Any farmer knows that you cannot expect the harvest from a coconut tree as that from a corn farm. 

You see, the blessing comes after many days of toil, sweat, hard labour, money invested_ after a season of waiting, waiting and more waiting. It may even seems sometimes that the harvest will fail. But wait for it. 

Listen to God's answer to Habakkuk, "For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry."

Let me tell you, if you have been investing days of labour, be patient for the harvest. It will come.

There will sometimes be moments you feel like the investment has been in vain. Paul also felt that way about the Galatians and he wrote, “I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain“ (Gal 4:11). 

Are you feeling that way? Just wait, the vision only speaks at the end. 

Waiting and working for the vision to come to pass is wisdom and a proof of faith. 

An anxious pregnant woman who wish her baby should come out after five months is just being foolish because the normal time of waiting is 9 months. Any baby that comes out of the womb before that time is called premature, because it came before its time. 

The vision only speaks at the end. A child who wishes to become a medical doctor does not become one after year one two years ago of academic studies. It takes about 20 years of preparation and studies with the vision in mind. The vision only speaks at the end. It will no lie. 

Lastly do not wish to become all that you see in the vision in one day. It takes years of building, strategizing, executing, building again and again. No woman who wish to deliver a child who is 5kg. It is a very painful and difficult process. The child is 2.5, 3 or 4, but at the end, it speaks of a mature man or woman after 20, 25 years of age. No child is born, crows, stands, walks and runs on the same day. 

Let's end with this verses, "Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:" (Hebrews 10:35‭-‬36) 

I pray that God will help you to wait with patience and confidence for the vision. May he grant you the wisdom to labour and the patience to wait in faith in Jesus Name, Amen 🙏🏽

"Car c'est une vision qui n'est encore que pour un temps déterminé, mais elle s'approche de son terme, et elle ne mentira pas; si elle tarde, attends-la, car elle s'accomplira, elle s'accomplira certainement."

Chaque mission produit une vision en celui qui la porte. La vision est toujours une image d'un avenir désiré ou préféré. C'est une condition idéale que nous souhaitons voir se réaliser. Et donc, nous travaillons dur pour la concrétiser. Mais parfois, cela ne vient pas aussi facilement et rapidement que nous le pensons.

Sachez ceci, la récolte prend du temps. Et selon le type d'arbre, certaines récoltes prennent plus de temps. Tout agriculteur sait qu'on ne peut pas attendre la même récolte d'un cocotier que d'un champ de maïs.

Vous voyez, la bénédiction vient après de nombreux jours de labeur, de sueur, de dur travail, d'argent investi, après une saison d'attente, d'attente et encore d'attente. Il peut même sembler parfois que la récolte va échouer. Mais attendez-la.

Écoutez la réponse de Dieu à Habacuc, "Car c'est une vision qui n'est encore que pour un temps déterminé, mais elle s'approche de son terme, et elle ne mentira pas; si elle tarde, attends-la, car elle s'accomplira, elle s'accomplira certainement."

Laissez-moi vous dire, si vous avez investi des jours de labeur, soyez patient pour la récolte. Elle viendra.

Il y aura parfois des moments où vous aurez l'impression que l'investissement a été vain. Paul ressentait aussi cela à propos des Galates et il a écrit, “Je crains d'avoir inutilement travaillé pour vous” (Galates 4:11).

Vous sentez-vous ainsi? Attendez juste, la vision ne parle qu'à la fin.

Attendre et travailler pour que la vision se réalise est une preuve de sagesse et de foi.

Une femme enceinte anxieuse qui souhaite que son bébé sorte après cinq mois est juste insensée car le temps normal d'attente est de 9 mois. Tout bébé qui sort de l'utérus avant ce temps est appelé prématuré, car il est venu avant son temps.

La vision ne parle qu'à la fin. Un enfant qui souhaite devenir médecin ne le devient pas après une ou deux années d'études. Il faut environ 20 ans de préparation et d'études avec la vision en tête. La vision ne parle qu'à la fin. Elle ne mentira pas.

Enfin, ne souhaitez pas devenir tout ce que vous voyez dans la vision en un jour. Il faut des années de construction, de stratégie, d'exécution, de reconstruction encore et encore. Aucune femme ne souhaite accoucher d'un enfant de 5 kg. C'est un processus très douloureux et difficile. L'enfant fait 2,5, 3 ou 4 kg, mais à la fin, il devient un homme ou une femme mature après 20, 25 ans. Aucun enfant ne naît, ne rampe, ne se tient debout, ne marche et ne court le même jour.

Terminons avec ces versets : "N'abandonnez donc pas votre assurance, qui comporte une grande récompense. Car vous avez besoin de persévérance, afin qu'après avoir accompli la volonté de Dieu, vous obteniez ce qui vous est promis:" (Hébreux 10:35-36)

Je prie que Dieu vous aide à attendre avec patience et confiance la vision. Qu'il vous accorde la sagesse de travailler et la patience d'attendre avec foi au nom de Jésus, Amen 🙏🏽
