1 Corinthians1:26
"For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called."
This is a powerful revelation that you need to see in the Bible. Most of those that God used in the Bible time and He is using today are not people with exceptional wisdom, strength or talents, they are just humans who heard the call of God, believed in Him and decided to depend on Him. They were and they are people with ordinary status whom God empowered to do extraordinary things. Some of them had so many disadvantageous conditions that in a normal society, they could not be counted for anything. Yet God used them to accomplish great missions, unbelievable tasks.
Look at this passage again in a bigger view. 1Corinthians 1:26-28:
"For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. [27] But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; [28] and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are."
Have you seen that? God uses those that on a normal platform cannot be qualified for anything in our present day society: foolish, weak, base, and despised.
What is your own condition today? In one way or the other, you can identify with one, two or all of those elements. God can also used you. The aim is this, Verse 29, "that no flesh should glory in His presence." Praise the Lord!
We are going to look at some examples from the Old to the New Testament.
Our first person is, Moses. He was raised as a prince in Egypt. He had everything he needed and did anything he wanted. Stephen described him in Acts 7:22 "And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and deeds."
Realising the condition of his people, the Israelites, Moses thought he could deliver them with human or political power and wisdom. Stephen continued by saying this, "For he supposed that his brethren would have understood that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand."
Unfortunately for him, God did not need his human wisdom or power.
Friends the work of God is not done by human power or might, It is by His Spirit. Then, Moses exiled himself in the land of Median were he settled for the ordinary life of a shepherd, working for his father-in-law. He took a wife and had two kids, living a normal and ordinary life (Acts 7:29).
Forty years after, it is a man broken and humbled by life situations, a man who lost all hope of one day becoming a hero that the angel of God met in the burning bush experience to extern and extraordinary call to (Acts 7:30). Moses had become a fearful man, discouraged, lest motivated and looking for all excuses to escape the call. Moses himself at that time said in Exodus 4:10
"O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue."
But you know what? He was the right person for God. One who totally believe in God and will give Him the glory in everything. One who knows that it is not him nor about him. It is all about God. And God used him mightily. The first five books of the Bible are attributed to him.
What are your weaknesses, God wants to use you too. Hallelujah!

"Car vous voyez votre vocation, frères, de sorte que peu de sages selon la chair, peu de puissants, peu de nobles, soient appelés."
c'est une révélation puissante que vous devez voir dans la Bible. La plupart de ceux que Dieu a utilisés à l’époque biblique et qu’Il utilise aujourd’hui ne sont pas des personnes dotées d’une sagesse, d’une force ou de talents exceptionnels, ce sont simplement des humains qui ont entendu l’appel de Dieu, ont cru en Lui et ont décidé de dépendre de Lui. ils l’étaient et sont toujours des gens au statut ordinaire à qui Dieu a donné le pouvoir de faire des choses extraordinaires. Certains d’entre eux vivaient dans des conditions tellement désavantageuses que dans une société normale, ils ne pouvaient être pris en compte pour rien. Pourtant, Dieu les a utilisés pour accomplir de grandes missions, des tâches incroyables.
regardez à nouveau ce passage dans une vue plus grande. 1Corinthiens 1:26-28 :
_"Car vous voyez votre vocation, frères, à savoir que peu de sages selon la chair, peu de puissants, peu de nobles, sont appelés. [27] Mais Dieu a choisi les choses folles du monde pour confondre les sages, et Dieu a choisi les choses faibles du monde pour confondre les choses fortes ; [28] et les choses viles du monde et les choses qui sont méprisées, Dieu les a choisies, et les choses qui ne le sont pasréduire à néant les choses qui sont. »_
Avez-vous vu ça ? Dieu utilise ceux qui, sur une plate-forme normale, ne peuvent être qualifiés pour rien dans notre société actuelle : insensés, faibles, vils et méprisés.
Quelle est votre propre condition aujourd’hui ? D’une manière ou d’une autre, vous pouvez vous identifier à un, deux ou à tous ces éléments. Dieu peut aussi vous utiliser. le but est le suivant, verset 29, _"qu'aucune chair ne se glorifie en sa présence."_ Louez le Seigneur !
Nous allons examiner quelques exemples de l’Ancien au Nouveau Testament.
Notre première personne est Moïse. Il a été élevé comme prince en Égypte. Il avait tout ce dont il avait besoin et faisait tout ce qu'il voulait. Étienne l'a décrit dans Actes 7 : 22. Moïse était instruit dans toute la sagesse des Égyptiens, et était puissant en paroles et en actes._
Conscient de la condition de son peuple, les Israélites, Moïse pensait pouvoir le délivrer grâce à la puissance et à la sagesse humaines ou politiques. Stephen a continué en disant ceci: _"Car il supposait que ses frères auraient compris que Dieu les délivrerait par sa main, mais ils n'ont pas compris."_
Malheureusement pour lui, Dieu n’avait pas besoin de sa sagesse ou de sa puissance humaine.
Mes amis, l’œuvre de Dieu n’est pas accomplie par la puissance ou la puissance humaine, mais par son Esprit. Ensuite, Moïse s'exile au pays de Médine où il s'installe pour la vie ordinaire de berger, travaillant pour son beau-père. Il a pris une femme et a eu deux enfants, menant une vie normale et ordinaire (Actes 7 :29).
quarante ans après, c'est un homme brisé et humilié par les situations de la vie, un homme qui a perdu tout espoir de devenir un jour un héros que l'ange de Dieu a rencontré dans l'expérience du buisson ardent pour un appel extérieur et extraordinaire (Actes 7, 30). . Moïse était devenu un homme craintif, découragé, peu motivé et cherchant toutes les excuses pour échapper à l'appel. Moïse lui-même a dit à cette époque dans Exode 4 : 10
_"O mon Seigneur, je ne suis pas éloquent, ni avant ni depuis que Tu as parlé à Ton serviteur; mais je suis lent à parler et lent à parler."_
Mais tu sais quoi ? Il était la bonne personne pour Dieu. Celui qui croit totalement en Dieu et lui donnera la gloire en tout. Celui qui sait qu'il ne s'agit pas de lui. Tout tourne autour de Dieu. Et Dieu l’a utilisé puissamment. Les cinq premiers livres de la Bible lui sont attribués.
